MADURAI: The 26th Madurai International Documentary and Short Film Festival 2024 will be held at multiple venues from December 6th to 10th 2024.
Totally 78 films from 21 countries including top class public interest documentaries, short fiction, animation films and music videos will be screened in this film festival, Mr.Amudhan R.P, film festival director, has said today. There will be evening shows also from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm at YMCA Hall, Nethaji Road in Madurai.
The film screening schedule starts on December 6th 2024 and it will be taking place at multiple locations like Madurai Media and Film Studies Academy, MUTA Hall, Arul Anandhar College, Madurai Kamaraj University in Madurai and also at Gandhigram University and Anugraha College in Dindigul.
This Madurai International Documentary and Short Film Festival 2024 is being jointly organized by Madurai Media and Film Studies Academy, Department of Tamil-Gandhigram University, MUTA, Arul Anandhar College, IDEAS Centre, Department of Communication-MKU, LENS Media Centre, Kaleidoscope, PUCL-Madurai, Tamil Nadu Murpokku Ezhuthaalarkal and Kalignarkal Sangam-Madurai city, Tamil Nadu Kalai Ilakkiya Permandram-Dindigul, Anugraha College-Dindigul, Ilakku, Vidiyal Child Rights Movement and Marupakkam.
