MADURAI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has invited like-minded political parties in Tamil Nadu for forming a ‘new victorious coalition and alliance’ in the State for 2026 Assembly elections and to oust the present DMK regime.

In a press statement issued from Chennai on November 15th 2024, the party’s national co-incharge for Tamil Nadu Mr.P.Sudhakar Reddy has claimed that the NDA alliance is presently strong in Tamil Nadu and more unity among the political parties will defeat the DMK in the coming assembly polls.

“Under Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi’s leadership, we will eliminate corrupt politics of the DMK and promote development policies. Together, we will create a corruption-free Tamil Nadu and usher in a new era of growth and development,” Mr.Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has said in his invite to the like-minded parties that want to defeat the DMK.

He also stressed that only authorized senior leaders of the BJP should comment on critical issues such as alliances for elections and no one should comment about that at this stage unnecessarily because the national leadership and State leaders will decide on poll alliances at the time of elections.

Mr.Sudhakar Reddy had further said in the press statement that the primary focus of BJP cadres in Tamil Nadu right now should be on expanding the party’s membership and to highlight the numerous Central government projects and welfare schemes that were brought to Tamil Nadu by the Modi government.
