MADURAI: A motivational speech for students was organized by the Madurai Institute of Social Sciences (MISS) in Madurai on November 8th 2024.
Dr.Kavidasan, Director, Roots Industries India Pvt Ltd-Coimbatore, was invited to give the motivational speech and he spoke about self-reliance, self-confidence, hard work, politeness and grasping the opportunities while delivering the Dr.Capt.D.V.P.Raja Memorial Lecture in the college campus in Madurai today.
“Five Cs are important for success- character, courage, competence, commitment and creativity. He shared his life experiences and asked the students to be goal-oriented. He also exhorted the students to learn from yesterday’s experience, experiment for today and meet the expectations of tomorrow,” a press release received from Madurai Institute of Social Sciences has said today.
Dr.M.S.Muthusamy, former Inspector General of Police-Tamil Nadu and a meritorious alumnus of MISS, had felicitated the gathering while Mr.D.V.Dharmasingh, Secretary, Madurai Institute of Social Sciences, had presided over this first motivational speech of the year held in the college campus.
Dr.P.Jaya Kumar, Principal in-charge of MISS, had welcomed the students and gathering while Dr.M.Nisanth, Head, Department of Social Work, had proposed a vote of thanks.
