MADURAI: The Statehood Day celebration of nine States and seven Union Territories (UT) was held at Raj Bhavan in Chennai on November 4th 2024 where Tamil Nadu Governor Mr.R.N.Ravi had given a message cautioning against ongoing attempts to undermine Bharat’s unity.
He urged the society to remain united and vigilant against such threats including social discrimination which must be eradicated to safeguard our oneness.
“Statehood Day celebration is an initiative to celebrate the cultural richness of Bharat. Thanks to the visionary leadership of PM Modi, we are revitalizing the essence of Bharat with renewed fervor and unity. Statehood celebration got transformed from a mere ceremony into a vibrant festival enriched by active societal participation. We cherish the true spirit of our oneness while celebrating our diversity,” Tamil Nadu Governor Mr.R.N.Ravi has said in his message released through Raj Bhavan yesterday.
At the Statehood celebration function, he felicitated several distinguished and eminent personalities of various States on the occasion of the Foundation Day of various States and UTs on November 4th 2024 at Raj Bhavan in Chennai. He also felicitated artists of different States and UTs who performed spectacular cultural performances to mark the occasion.
