MADURAI: Senior journalist Shastry V Mallady had given a motivational talk for students at a special session organized by the Department of MCA at American College in Madurai on October 15th 2024.
Citing examples and narrating a few incidents from his personal life since schooldays and college days, he pointed out that three ‘Cs’ are important to give the fourth C which is confidence.
“Conviction, Clarity and Contacts must be developed from college days. The degree of confidence should be high by the time you pass out of your college with a degree. You are MCA students and it means More Confident Always. Spend some time attending events in your place and try to meet people. That gives you a good exposure and self-learning internship opportunity besides good contacts with people and personalities. Along with marks, you must try to make a mark for yourself in your field and profession and that comes only with contacts you develop,” the journalist has said.
Mr.Shastry V Mallady had narrated a few examples of how he used to meet eminent personalities, leaders and distinguished individuals from various walks of life from his childhood days and how that eventually enhanced his self-confidence levels. The persons whom he met personally in 1980s for their autographs and how it shaped up his thought process include Mother Teresa, N.T.Ramarao, Ram Jethmalani, C.Subramaniam, H.V.Hande, N.Ram and several others as he used to attend their meetings and meet them personally during his college days.
Around 200 students attended this session which was organized by MCA Director Dr.J.Frank Ruban Jebaraj and his team at the American College here.
