MADURAI: An exclusive ticket counter for digital transactions was opened at Madurai railway station for the convenience of rail passengers.
“This digital payment train ticket counter was opened to increase and encourage digital transactions, and to reduce the people standing in queue for tickets. Train passengers can buy the ticket by making payment through QR code, POS machine and through UPI,” a press release received from Madurai Division of Southern Railway has informed today- October 17th 2024.
