‘WE ARE READY’: Indian Air Force once again shows its power from Chennai Tambaram; Air Chief Marshal speaks in a decisive tone

MADURAI: The 92nd anniversary of Indian Air Force (IAF) was celebrated in a spectacular way from the Air Force Station in Tambaram in Chennai today- on October 8th 2024- where the state-of-the-art equipment of IAF and its fighter capability was displayed in full glare once again just within a couple of days of Marina display in Chennai.

Ceremonial parade and demonstration of air power of India were the highlights from Tambaram and the message was loud and clear from Chief of Defence Staff Gen.Anil Chauhan and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh today.

“Over the years, we have become more empowered with better technology and achieved new levels with air force systems and weapons. We took lot of steps for ‘Aatmanirbharta’ in the field of defence R&D. He underscored the need for IAF to remain prepared always to meet any contingencies and challenges for our national interest in the context of global security environment now…. We are working for Make in India initiatives by engaging MSMEs, individual innovators and related professionals…..IAF is expanding its participation in bilateral and multilateral exercises with friendly countries and the ‘Tarang Shakti’ was a testimony to the competence and professionalism of India’s air warriors,” the Chief of Air Staff AP Singh has asserted today.

There was a great parade, airshow and static display of India’s air capability and in today’s show the combat aircraft showed to the nation from Chennai skies that the 92nd anniversary celebrations of the Indian Air Force event today is just to dedicate once again to the nation, according to a press release received from the Government of India today.
