MADURAI: The 56th annual convocation of Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) in Madurai will be held on October 22nd 2024 at 2 pm here.
Prof.Govindan Rangarajan, Director, Indian Institute of Science-Bengaluru will be chief guest and he will deliver the convocation address. The Governor’s office has sent an official communication to the MKU’s Syndicate Committee convener informing him about the university convocation date and the required arrangements.
According to university sources, there will be 450 candidates who will receive their Ph.D doctorate degrees and medals on the stage an din this convocation totally 65,000 students will get their degrees in absentia after the Governor-Chancellor’s approval.
