MADURAI: Popular flour supplier SVS Foods in Madurai has opened a supermarket at Teppakulam in the city today- October 4th 2024.
VELMART Supermarket was inaugurated today morning by the family members of SVS family for the convenience and easy access to people in Teppakulam area and they are confident that it will now be a go to destination departmental store. This air-conditioned super market is located in SVS Flour Mill campus, opposite to Kasi Clinic, near Teppakulam here.
Mr.S.V.S.S.Velshankar, Mr.S.V.Sarvesh Swaroop Shankar and Mr.S.V.Suraj Sundara Shankar were among those present at the inaugural function along with members of SVS family.
“Our family is in flour business for last 90 years. There is a good retail scope in Teppakulam area because there is no supermarket or departmental store here in this locality. SVS flour is a well-known brand in Tamil Nadu and we are coming much closer to the customers’ doorstep by opening Vel Mart Supermarket in Teppakulam,” Mr.S.V.Suraj Sundara Shankar has said.
