MADURAI: Dr.L.Arul Sundaresh Kumar, Professor of ENT, Government Madurai Medical College-Madurai, has today assumed charge as the new Dean of Government Rajaji Hospital (GRH) here.
He has been appointed as GRH Dean by the Tamil Nadu Government-Health and Family Welfare Department in the place of Dr.A.Rathinavel who had retired from service a few weeks ago after serving as hospital Dean.
After assuming charge as GRH Dean on October 4th 2024, the new Dean Dr.L.Arul Sundaresh Kumar (who is a well-known ENT surgeon) had called on Madurai District Collector M.S.Sangeetha and sought her good wishes in his new role after being posted as GRH Dean by the government.
“Today I assumed charge as GRH Dean. I am naturally happy because I am now in that position in the same college where I studied and in the same hospital where I worked in the ENT department… In the next few days, I will observe the overall scenario in GRH and after that I will chalk out my action plan,” the new Dean told ‘Lotus Times’ English news website today evening.
