MADURAI: The Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry has taken yet another business and entrepreneurship promotion initiative from Madurai by launching ‘Business Studio’ from its premises here in the city today- on September 18th 2024.
Mr.Sivarajah Ramanathan, Mission Director and CEO of Startup TN, had inaugurated the ‘Business Studio’ in the chamber premises today and it will function as a forum for mentorship and funding guidance for startups.
“We are planning to have 500 venture studios in Tamil Nadu through startup initiatives….. The ultimate objective of a business studio or a venture studio is aimed to take forward a business model, create entrepreneurship thinking process and conduct brainstorming sessions…. Geographical inclusion is important in Tamil Nadu in order to bring Madurai region into the Startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem. It is jot just about Chennai or Coimbatore area. We are here to help you how to build a business, to promote your innovative ideas, bring newness, and we want to just give a spark for your ideas. Remember that anybody can start a startup venture for business and it is not for just youngsters only. The Business Studio started by TN Chamber from Madurai should think on those lines and create a platform for experience sharing by present generation of business community and take it to the current youngsters who wants a platform for sharing their business ideas in tune with latest technology trends,” Mr.Sivarajah Ramanathan, Mission Director and CEO of Startup TN, has said while addressing a large gathering of students from various colleges in Madurai on September 18th 2024.
Mr.S.P.Varadharajan, Chairman, Business Studio, had explained about the objectives of this mission and said that it will be a bridge between the industry and startups in Madurai, it will give mentorship for business aspirants and guide them for seed funding, networking support, encouragement from Tamil Nadu Chamber members and in six important sectors which were identified by the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Business Studio team.
Dr.N.Jegatheesan, president, TN Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr.S.Sridhar, chamber secretary, Mr.S.P.Varadharajan, chairman of Business Studio, Mr.S.A.Saravana Pandian, vice-chairman of Business Studio and Mr.S.A.Vishnu Prasath, vice-chairman of Business Studio, were among those present present at the inaugural function of Business Studio at Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Madurai on September 18th 2024.
