MADURAI: Two new Vande Bharat Express trains in Southern Railway will be flagged off by Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi through video conferencing on August 31st 2024, and one among them is Madurai to Bangalore Cantonment (Train No.20671/20672- Madurai- Bengaluru Cantonment.
At Madurai Junction, Union Minister of State for Railways Mr.V.Somanna will participate in the flagging off event of Madurai-Bengaluru Vande Bharat inaugural function. Regular service of train will start on September 2nd 2024, according to a railway press release here today. Train fare from Madurai to Bangalore is Rs.1,575 in AC Chair Car and the fare is Rs.2,865 in executive chair car (inclusive of catering charges).
Vande Bharat train fare from Madurai to Dindigul in AC chair car is Rs.440 and it is Rs.825 in executive chair car. The fare from From Madurai to Tiruchi in this VB train is Rs.555 in AC chair car while it is Rs.1,075 in Executive Chair car. And from Madurai to Bengaluru Cantonment, the total train fare is Rs.1,575 in AC chair car and it is Rs.2,865 in executive chair car.
