MADURAI: In an important humanity helping gesture, teachers association MUTA from Madurai region had contributed Rs.8 lakhs to the relief fund for Wayanad people in Kerala who got devastated due to heavy rains and severe landslides in Wayanad area in Kerala.
Mr.M.Nagarajan, general secretary of MUTA (Madurai Kamaraj, Manonmaniam Sundaranar, Mother Teresa and Alagappa University Teachers’ Association), along with MUTA team met Kerala Higher Education Minister R.Bindu at the Secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala today- on August 29th 2024- and handed over eight lakhs rupees towards the Wayanad relief fund and help the families who got devastated in the recent heavy rains in Wayanad in Kerala.
Among those who met the Kerala Higher Education Minister Dr.R.Bindu on behalf of MUTA from Tamil Nadu include M.Nagarajan, MUTA general secretary, S.Raja Jeya Sekar, MUTA treasurer, C.James, zonal secretary, P.Sivagnanam, zonal secretary, R.Heiz Dawson, Zonal president and C.Radhakrishnan, former president of MUTA, according to a press release received in Madurai today- on August 29th 2024- after the meeting with Kerala Minister.
