MADURAI: In an important motivating gesture, Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School at K.Pudur in Madurai had presented washing machine to a student-P.L. Sivakarthickeyan- who secured rank for national scholarship.
“Student Pala.Sivakarthick has secured 243rd rank in Tamil Nadu level-National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) examination for Class 8 students. School administrator of Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School in Madurai Mr.Mohamed Idris had congratulated the winning student and gave washing machine as a special prize to the student,” according to a press release received from the school here today.
The washing machine was presented to him at the 78th Independence Day celebration held school campus yesterday, where the student was felicitated for securing NMMS scholarship. SACS Managing Partner Mr.Gopinath gave incentive to the student, the press release said.
School Headmaster Mr.Sheik Nabi, assistant HMs Mr.Zahir Hussain and Mr.Rahmatullah along with mathematics teacher Abuthahir were among those who congratulated the boy. Tamil teacher Thowfiq Raja, teacher Noorullah and school staff were among those present.
