MADURAI: The inaugural function of ‘Varthaga Club’ at Lady Doak College in Madurai took place on July 30th 2024 under the auspices of Department of Commerce where new office-bearers of the club for 2024-25 were inducted.
Mr.S.Michael Jerald IRS, Additional Director of Income Tax (Investigation), Madurai, who was the chief guest had encouraged the students to take active part in the ‘Varthaga Club’ activities. Installation of club office-bearers was done by club advisor Dr.Angel Christy Praveena, club coordinators Dr.Shankari and Dr.Akilamary, according to a press release received from LDC yesterday.
Dr.Vanitha Malarvizhi P, Head and Associate Professor, Department of Commerce and Bursar of Lady Doak College, welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest while Ms.Raja Priya S, PG president, Excelcia Club, had proposed a vote of thanks.
