MADURAI: The famous Lady Doak College in Madurai had celebrated ‘Mupperum Vizha’ in the college campus on July 26th 2024 to mark three important occasions- its Founder’s Day, college birthday and inauguration of student cabinet for academic year 2024-25.
Dr.Anantha Barathi Muthukrishnan, founder and CEO of Celldzyne Pvt Ltd, was the chief guest for ‘Triune Celebration’ in the campus and she was an alumnus of LDC here and served as principal scientist in IIT-Madras.
Dr.Arockia Shyamala Paniyarasi, Dean of Student Affairs, welcomed the gathering while LDC Principal and Secretary Dr.R.Beulah Jeyashree, college vice-principal Dr.Nimma Elizabeth and college Bursar Dr.Vanitha Malarvizhi along with Dean of Student Affairs Dr.T.Mowna Sundari and Student Cabinet president Ms.R.Shenbaga Harshini had felicitated the students.
The 133rd birthday of Lady Doak College founder Ms.Katie Wilcox was the highlight at this event where it was emphasized about the LDC founder’s dedication that had helped the college to grow with laurels, a press release received from LDC in Madurai today has informed.
