MADURAI: A strong demand to establish a statutory boy called ‘National Commission for Men’ is rapidly getting pubic support and gaining momentum following a couple of very latest family issues that took place in two Telugu speaking States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
A live public debate conducted by a Telugu TV news channel ‘BIG TV’ on July 20th 2024 from Hyderabad has confirmed that there are several men who are waiting for the setting up of a ‘NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR MEN’ on the lines of National Commission for Women which is a government statutory body that takes care of women’s rights, women’s safety and women issues.
(The current issue is a follow-up of Telugu actor Raj Tarun and his wife Lavnaya episode that is facing police cases, various complaints in Hyderabad’s NARASING police station about his alleged second affair, money extortion charges, disturbed marriage relationship, divorce threats and the public response received by one Mr.Sheik Basha when he was in BIG TV live show telecast July 20th 2024 where the demand for setting NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR MEN was expressed by many husbands in their phone calls).
“There are several women who are physically attacking their husbands, women attacking their in-laws etc in a family. Please remember that 100 culprits can escape, but one single innocent person should not be punished. This is what our laws are telling. There can be many family issues, domestic fights, property cases, divorce matters etc. But, there are husbands, and there are men being physically attacked by wives and women at home. So, there is a daily torture mentally and physically being faced by husbands and men in their homes. Wife is filing false cases in police station, wrong complaints being made in women police stations by women against their husbands for property issues, and extramarital issues/ female friends, in-laws issues are being shown as a excuse to attack the husband. They can take divorce…..butthey are physically attacking their husbands,” said many male voices in their BIG TV live show by calling the news channel and also added that the number of ‘WIFE BLACKMAILING HUSBAND’ incidents should be stopped.
