Swami Vivekananda galvanized national pride: TN Governor pays homage on his ‘Samadhi Day’ July 4th 2024

MADURAI: Tamil Nadu Governor Mr.R.N.Ravi had paid floral tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his ‘Samadhi Day’ today- July 4th 2024- at Raj Bhavan in Chennai.

In an important message today, the Tamil Nadu Governor Mr.R.N.Ravi has said that “Nation with profound gratitude and reverence pays homage to Swami Vivekananda on his ‘Samadhi Day’ today. He powerfully demonstrated to the world the beauty and profundity of all the all inclusive Dharma of Bharat and reawakened among Indians the sense of national pride….It helped galvanize the nation leading to our freedom from the colonial rule. His spiritual journey was intertwined with the ‘Punya Bhumi’ of Tamil Nadu, where he received enlightenment..On this auspicious day, let us commit ourself to fulfilling his dream of a truly ‘Viksit Bharat’…materially prosperous, militarily strong and spiritually compassionate with the ideal of ‘Vasudhaivakutumbakam’…., the Tamil Nadu Governor has said in his message of tributes to Swami Vivekananda.

This great Hindu monk had worked for spiritual enlightenment to the masses and to spread Indian culture, and the Ramakrishna Mission was his strong foundation in India.
