Anna University’s 44th annual convocation held in Chennai: 1,14,957 students awarded degrees

MADURAI: The 44th annual convocation of the prestigious Anna University in Chennai took place in the varsity campus in Chennai today- on July 2nd 2024. Tamil Nadu Governor and university Chancellor Mr.R.N.Ravi had conferred and awarded the degrees to 1,14,957 students who had completed their degree courses, at today’s convocation in Chennai.

Prof. T.G.Sitharam, Chairman of All India Council for Technical Education (AICETE) in New Delhi was the chief guest and he delivered the convocation address. The 44th annual convocation was held at Vivekananda Auditorium in Anna University in Chennai today.

Prof.R.Velraj, Anna University Vice-Chancellor and university’s Syndicate members along with varsity faculty members, staff and students were present.

“AICTE chairman Prof.T.G.Sitharam had delivered an inspiring and thought provoking speech at today’s convocation and he had motivated the fresh graduates to aim high and achieve for India as a developed nation,” varsity staff had informed.
