MADURAI: The Railway Board has today informed that the renumbering of passenger train services which was notified with effect from July 1st 2024 has been withdrawn.
“As directed by the Railway Board, the renumbering of passenger train services which was notified with effect from 1st July 2024 is withdrawn. Hence, the passenger train trains will continue to run with existing numbers till further advice,” an important press release received from the Southern Railway-Madurai Division here today has informed through a public alert and information to train passengers.
