MADURAI: The admission centre of Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) of Madurai Kamaraj University was inaugurated in Theni today- on June 19th 2024. This own admission centre of the varsity is located opposite to Theni old bus stand in Theni.
Mr.K.Parthiban, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Theni district, inaugurated the MKU Admission Centre in Theni and distributed admission cards to students, according to a press release received from the university here today evening.
Among those who were present at the inaugural function include MKU Syndicate Member Prof.B.Mayilvaganan, MKU Registrar in-charge Prof.M.Ramakrishnan, Member Syndicate Prof.S.Kannan and Dr.P.Muthupandi, Director of Distance Education of MKU, the press release added.
Also present at the inaugural function were Additional Controller of Examinations Dr.S.Saleema Rabiyath along with evening college directors, deputy directors, faculty members of DDE and administrativre staff, the MKU press release said.
This new admission center at Theni will facilitate enrolment process for distance education programs of MKU and makes it easily accessible to students in Theni and surrounding areas, MKU officials said here today evening.
