MADURAI: Mr.AKS Muruganandam, Rotary International Director for 2025-27 Zone-5, will be felicitated in a grand manner at a special felicitation function being organised in Madurai tomorrow- on June 18th 2024- by RI District 3000 here.
This felicitation event will take place at IDA Scudder Auditorium in Velammal Hospital campus in Madurai on June 18th 2024 from 6 pm and Tamil Nadu School Education Minister Mr.Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi is the chief guest, according to a press release received from Rotary here today.
Mr.Basker Chockalingam, Past Rotary International Director (2017-19), will be the guest of honour for the RI Director felicitation event for which the hosts are Rtn.R.Anandtha Jothi, District Governor (2023-24), Rtn.R.Rajagovindasamy, District Governor (2024-25), Rtn.J.Karthick, District Governor (2025-26) and Rtn.R.Subramani, District Governor (2026-27), the press release from Rotary International District 3000 has informed.
The co-hosts are Rotary Club of BHEL City-Trichy including Rtn.P.Srinivasan, president 2023-24, Rtn.U.Prtithvi, secretary 2023-24, Rtn.J.Lakshmipathy, president 2024-25 and Rtn.S.Rakesh, secretary, 2024-25, the invitation said.
RtnMuruganandam, who is popularly known as MMM in Rotary circles, is a Rotary Club member from Tiruchi, and he belongs to Rotary Club of BHEL City-Tiruchirapalli. He worked in various capacities in Rotary International including as Past District Governor, Rotary Public Image Coordinator Zone-5 and he is the chairman of EXCEL Group of Companies.
