MADURAI: Tamil Nadu BJP State president Mr.K.Annamalai has today accused that the present DMK Government in Tamil Nadu is taking political revenge against SRM Hotel in Tiruchi where it is functioning for the past 30 years from the place given to to it for lease.
“The attempts by DMK Government for closure of SRM Hotel is being condemned by the BJP. Because SRM Hotel founder Mr.Paarivendhar had contested in the recent Lok Sabha elections 2024 as a candidate against Mr.K.N.Nehru’s son Mr.Arun Nehru. So, the DMK government is targeting SRM Hotel in Tiruchi,” the BJP Tamil Nadu State president Mr.Annamalai has said in his press statement issued on June 14th 2024.
“The land for this hotel was taken on lease in a proper format as per rules in 1994 but the SRM Hotel in Tiruchi is now being pressurized to vacate the place. This hotel is running for the past 30 years in that place which was taken on lease from the government and it is government land. The SRM Hotel management in Tiruchi had constructed buildings and there is information that the buildings will be demolished. Appeals were made to the Tamil Nadu government to renew the lease of SRM Hotel in Tiruchi but it was not taken in to consideration. So, the SRM Group had gone to the court for legal remedy, but the DMK Government’s present action to vacate them is a contempt of court,” the BJP State president Mr.K.Annamalai had pointed out in his press statement on June 14th 2024.
The TN BJP State president Mr.K.Annamalai also appealed today to the DMK Government in Tamil Nadu to stop hasty action against SRM Hotel in Triuchi because the case is pending in court.
