MADURAI: Kerala cadre senior IAS officer’s book ‘From Bundelkhand to Jharkhand: Musings of an Observer’ which was authored by Dr.Raju Narayana Swamy was released at a function held in Narsinghpur in Madhya Pradesh where he is currently on election duty.
This book was penned by IAS officer Dr.Raju Narayana Swamy and it was released at a function which was attended by District Collector Ms.Sheetla Patle in Narsinghpur in Madhya Pradesh on June 2nd 2024.
The book is styled in the form of a travelogue as a journey through the heart of rural India, it delves into the intricacies of India’s electoral process and election laws. (The book is now in Malayalam language, but translations to Hindi and English are in the pipeline and expected to come out shortly).
“This is the 33rd book written by Dr.Raju Narayana Swamy. His earlier writings include the Sahitya Academy Award winning travelogue ‘Shantimanthram Muzhanguna Thazhavarayil’ and another book “Neelakkurinji: Oru Vyazhavattathizle Vaantham” which won him the Kunhunni Award. Dr.Raju Narayana Swamy is popularly known as anti-corruption crusader and performed 38 duties as Central Observer of Election Commission of India in 17 States across the country, and also as international observer in the 2018 Zimbabwe elections. He was also honoured wityh many national and international awards. Dr.Raju Narayana Swamy is a B.Tech from IIT Madras in Computer Science and Engineering, and a Ph.D in Law from the Gujarat National Law University,” a press release received by ‘Lotus Times’ news website in Madurai today had informed.
He also holds a PG Diploma from National Law School in Bangalore and also LL M from NLU-Delhi with gold medals, the press release added.
