MADURAI: The Commercial Branch of Madurai Division of Southern Railway here has called for applications as ATVM (Automatic Ticket Vending Machine) facilitators for sale and issue of unreserved tickets in trains.
Last date for submission of forms is June 11th 2024 and the details of application forms with terms and conditions are available on https://sr.indianrailways.gov.in/.
A press release received from the Southern Railway’s Madurai Division here on May 27th 2024 has informed that ATVM (Automatic Ticket Vending Machine) facilitators are engaged at eight railway stations including Madurai Junction, Tirunelveli Junction, Tiruchendur, Tuticorin, Tenkasi, Virudhunagar, Bodinayakanur and Punalur to issue unreserved tickets.
THREE PER CENT COMMISSION:
The tenure of ATVM facilitators is for one year and they will get three percent of total ticket sale as commission, the press release said.
“ATVM facilitators for 18 railway stations is meant to increase ticket sales through ATVMs. Madurai Division has invited applications from retired railway employees and general public for appointment as ATVM facilitators for Dindigul, Palani, Karaikudi, Rameswaram, Ramanathapuram, Manamadurai, Kallidaikurichi, Kovilpatti, Virudhunagar, Sankarankovil, Pudukottai, Sattur, Sengottai, Madurai, Tiruchendur, Tuticorin, Bodinayakkanur and Punalur railway stations. Last date for submission of applications forms is June 11th 2024,” the press release added.
