MADURAI: The Madurai Lok Sabha constituency is facing a high profile contest in the general elections 2024 as its electorate and the people of Madurai are having three highly qualified candidates before them to cast their vote when they go to the polling booth on April 19th 2024.
Three candidates in the race are 3-S (Su.Venkatesan from CPI (M) as DMK supported candidate in the UPA alliance, Prof.Dr. Sreenivasan as BJP candidate and Dr.P.Saravanan who is AIADMK candidate.
These three candidates are highly qualified and Madurai will be among the few constituencies in India where the candidates of top three parties are of high degree value literally because Su.Venkatesan is a Sahitya-Akademi winning writer, Prof.Raama.Sreenivasan is a doctorate by his academic profession, a professor and very articulate in his observations on important subjects due to his vast reading and his on- field experience in public issues, and Dr.Saravanan (a former MLA) who has seen several parties in his short political career besides being a popular doctor in Madurai through his hospital in Madurai city.
