MADURAI: The annual alumnae meet of Lady Doak College in Madurai took place in the college campus here on April 6th 2024.
Dr.Christianna Singh, Principal and Secretary of LDC, gave the introductory remarks by paying a tribute to long-serving board member of the college Dr.Sam C.Bose, and she stressed about the importance of strengthening the alumni association and keeping it vibrant through active participation and contribution to alumni programs.
Alumnae from various batches were honoured and LDC Vice-Principal Dr.Beulah Jeyashree gave a reflections on continuing the legacy of this institution, a press release received from the college today has informed.
Dr.Felcia Vasanthakumari, Lady Doak College Alumnae Association president, welcomed the gathering and secretary Dr.Joy Marjorie Annal had expounded the service projects while treasurer Ms.Deva Sangeetha D had presented a report on the alumnae association accounts.
Ms.Brindha, assistant institutional development officer, read a poem on the significance of one’s alma mater and alumnae association vice president Ms.Beryl Jennifer had proposed a vote of thanks. The alumni meeting had a games session and cultural activities for the old students from different batches who shared their nostalgia.
