MADURAI: Top arts and science colleges in Madurai are ready and geared up for the new academic year 2024-25 students’ admission process for various Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses. Some colleges are also introducing new courses from this coming academic year.
Students can get prepared to apply for the UG courses and take a final call after the Plus Two exam results are announced in the first week of May 2024. In the meantime, the colleges in Madurai are getting ready for the UG admissions.
AMERICAN COLLEGE:
The famous American College in Madurai is going to issue its applications for 2024-25 academic year from April 15th onwards (to be applied online mode) for Self-Financing (SF) courses while the schedule for aided courses will begin only after the Plus Two results. New courses additionally coming at American College in Madurai from this new academic year are M.Sc.Biotechnology, B.Sc.Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence and B.A.Tamil.
LADY DOAK COLLEGE:
The Lady Doak College in Madurai will have online applications enabled from April 17th for its PG admissions while the UG online applications will e enabled on the day of the exam result publication for Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board results. For LDC, the last working day for the current academic year is April 12th.
THIAGARAJAR COLLEGE:
Applications for Thiagarajar College at Teppakulam in Madurai will be there available online from April 10th 2024. This college is also going to offer new SF courses from academic year 2024-25- M.Sc.Psychology, B.Com PA additional section, BA Tamil, B.A.Economics English medium. The last working day of Thiagarajar College is April 18th 2024.
The details of other important colleges in Madurai were also being collected. For instance, the Fatima College here is yet to decide the date for starting to issue application forms for 2024-25 and in all probability it will be commencing after the Lok Sabha election date April 19th.
Sourashtra College has already started issuing application forms offline and the new courses being introduced are B.Sc Dtate Analysis, cyber security, cloud computing, artificial intelligence along with M.Sc.Microbiology and M.Com Computer Applications.
