MADURAI: Former Vice-President of India Mr.M.Venkaiah Naidu has given a 4-D message from Madurai for the youth of this country by urging the students and their parents to make sure about 4 Ds that are required for success.
“Discipline, Devotion, Dedication and Determination….These are the 4 Ds are required in our education system today which has to go a sea change. Nature and Culture together for better future. We need to take a lot of exposure to the Sun…unfortunately Indians are missing the Sunlight even though we have it in abundance in India. Yoga is not for Modi, it is for your body. Take proper Indian food…Be physically fit and mentally alert… Go and experience the sunlight daily and it is for good health,” Mr.M.Venkaiah Naidu had stressed in his message from Madurai today- on April 7th 2024 at the platinum jubilee celebrations of Thiagarajar College in Madurai.
The former Vice President of India had hailed the great role being played by Thiagarajar College in Madurai which is having a remarkable growth trajectory in its social commitment and public cause right from the days of its inception in the year 1949 till today- from the time of great founder Karumuttu Thiagarajan and later by his son Karumuttu T Kannan till recently and to the present management being spearheaded by Mrs. Uma Kannan and Hari Thiagarajan to uphold the legacy of 75 years of Thiagarajar College.

Our resolve should be to save water bodies and prevent what happened to Chennai city recently after the heavy rain flooding just a few months back. Be physically fit and mentally alert,” the former Vice-President of India Mr.M.Venkaiah Naidu has stressed in his keynote address at Thiagarajar College platinum jubilee celebrations event held in the college campus at Teppakulam in Madurai on April 7th 2024.
Mr.Ranjit Prathap, chairman and managing director, Rayala Corporation, delivered a special address speaking about the greatness of late Karumuttu T.Kannan and his association with the family for the past over three decades.
Dr.D.Pandiaraja, Principal, Thiagarajar College and faculty members, students, prominent alumnus of the college and retired faculty were among those present.
