MADURAI: The list of BJP candidates who will contest in the coming Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Tamil Nadu will be announced at around 10 pm today- on March 21st 2024- after the important election committee national level meeting of BJP in New Delhi, according to reliable party sources in BJP State headquarters ‘Kamalalayam’ at T.Nagar in Chennai.
Out of the total 39 Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu, BJP is going to contest from 20 LS constituencies in Tamil Nadu and according to insiders in the party, the list of probables and likely seats include- State BJP president Mr.Annamalai will contest either from Coimbatore or Karur, Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan from Madurai, Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan from South Chennai Lok Sabha constituency, Mr.Vinoj P.Selvam from Chennai Central, Gayathri from Sriperumbudur, Narasimhan from Krishnagiri, Vijayadharini from Kanyakumari, Nainar Nagendran from Tirunelveli etc.
The names of Prof.Kanagasabapathi and A.P.Muruganandham were also taken into consideration by the BJP leadership for Kongu belt in Tamil Nadu, sources added.
