TN Chamber’s free medical camp with Velammal

MADURAI: A free medical checkup camp was organized by the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry here today- on February 24th 2024- in association with Velammal Hospital which had deputed specialist doctors for tests and consultation.

The health camp, which was conducted in the chamber premises on Kamarajar Salai in the city, was inaugurated by Velammal Educational Trust chairman Mr.M.V.Muthuramalingam in the presence of TN Chamber president Dr.N.Jegatheesan and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Muthuramalingam has said that health camps are very important for people who need medical care and more health screening camps should be organized in thickly populated areas where doctors can see a variety of cases and provide treatment.

Dr.N.Jegatheesan said that the chamber is now in its centennial year and Madurai is becoming a medical hub thanks to hospitals like Velammal Hospital that are giving a boost to promote medical tourism with top class healthcare.

Tamil Nadu Chamber secretary Mr.S.Sridhar, vice-president Mr.J.Selvam and Voice Trust founder Mr.T.Murugesan were among those present at the inaugural function.
