MADURAI: The Army Recruiting Office, Coimbatore has invited applications from unmarried male candidates for selection test for Agniveer intake for recruiting year 2024-25 under Agnipath Scheme from 11 districts of Tamil Nadu.
The districts are Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Salem, Erode, Krishnagiri, Dindigul, Namakkal, Nilgiris, Madurai, Theni and Dharmapuri. A press released here today has informed that online application dates are from 13th February to 22nd March 2024 and the online exam dates will be from 22nd April 2024 onwards.
The recruitment of Agniveers will be carried out in two phases. The first phase will be online computer based written exam (Online CEE) and phase-2 is recruitment rally. Candidates can apply through website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
Selection in the Indian Army will be done in a fair and transparent manner and on merit only. “At no stage, any bribe is paid to anyone for selection or recruitment in the Indian Army,” the press release said and also alerted that the candidates should not fall prey to unscrupulous persons posing as recruiting agents.
