Vijay’s party ready with expansion plan; Target is 2 crore new members and mobile app soon for membership drive

CHENNAI: Actor Vijay’s political party- Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam- had an important consultation meeting at the party headquarters secretariat in Paniyur in Chennai today- February 19th 2024- where a few key decisions were taken and informed to the office-bearers for carrying out membership drive and expansion of internal party structure.

After the meeting today, TVK general secretary N.Anand had released a detailed announcement on the immediate plans of the party and announced that the target for Vijay’s political party is to reach the target of two crore new members.

“As per the advice of our party president Mr.Vijay and his instructions, membership camps will be conducted across Tamil Nadu- district wise and assembly constituency wise to strengthen the grassroot infrastructure of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. And as a first of its kind initiative, the party president will soon announce an exclusive women-led membership wing to spearhead the TVK membership drive,” the party headquarters statement released by N.Anand has said.

The party which was floated recently by actor Vijay will also have a mobile app soon so that district and assembly constituency in-charges along with membership wing of the party shall undertake membership drive from ward level to district level.

“We must make strong endeavours to ensure that general public including first time voters and women voters become active members of our party,” TVK General secretary N.Anand has said in the statement issued from party headquarters secretariat today.

He also told the party in-charges at today’s meeting that party president Mr.Vijay had already underlined the goals and political stand of TVK in detail through his statement on February 2nd 2024.

“All the appointments and announcements relating to our party are made/published at or party’s official social media platforms only with the approval of our party president,” the statement released today has informed.
