MADURAI: The ‘Lotus Times’ English news media website had received appeals from common man for the immediate intervention of Tamil Nadu BJP State president Mr.K.Annamalai to solve the hardships faced by common people on Kilambakkam bus terminus issue in Chennai.
“We want the State BJP president to fight for the people of southern districts and also for the people of Chennai who are losing Koyambedu bus stand. Why the bus stand was changed from Koyambedu to Kilambakkam? Is there any scandal, scam and corruption in this bus stand issue in Chennai? Some social media are telling that the Kilambakkam bus terminus in Chennai has political backing and money is involved. So, we want the Tamil Nadu BJP and State president Mr.Annamalai to help the people who are suffering a lot daily due to change of bus stand,” a senior citizen said here today on January 30th 2024 and asked the BJP to expose the ‘K’ files of Koyambedu to Kilambakkam if any in the present DMK government or the previous AIADMK government, like he is doing with DMK files.
The new bus terminus at Kilambakkam in Chennai is named as ‘Kalaignar Centenary Bus Terminus’ and people are facing hardships since private omni busses and YNSTC government buses are now starting from the new K, that is Kilambakkam, and not Koyambedu.
