MADURAI: Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and senior BJP leader Mr.Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said in Madurai today that the party is working in such a way that the BJP led alliance must win 25 plus Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu in the coming parliament elections.
“Our target for Tamil Nadu is to win 25 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. At national level, the BJP alliance will win 400 plus seats and for Tamil Nadu our alliance target is to secure victory in 25 plus seats,” he told reporters at a press meet after inaugurating the Madurai Parliament constituency BJP office (near police quarters) in Bibikulam in Madurai today- January 24th 2024.
Stating that the BJP cadres in Tamil Nadu are enthusiastic and geared up for election work, he exuded confidence that BJP will win the Madurai parliament constituency with a thumping majority because people are fed up with DMK’s corruption and also because the present Madurai MP is not active and not effective.
“We are putting a special focus on Tamil Nadu for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and in Madurai also. The BJP has 5,515 booth level in-charges who are working hard to get a thumping majority for us working in coordination with party’s office-bearers and in-charges at various levels. Talks are going on to build a strong alliance in Tamil Nadu,” Mr.Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said.
BJP leaders Mrs.A.R.Mahalakshmi and Mr.Maha Suseendhran were among those present at the press meet in Madurai today along with party functionaries.
