MADURAI: The Queen Mira International School (QMIS) in Madurai has emerged as one of the best educational institutions due to its holistic approach that is providing a fine blend of studies and values to students, Mr.D.R.Karthikeyan, former Director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), has said in Madurai today.

“This school is an excellent place of learning, very different from others. Not only in academic subjects, it is giving thrust to a holistic method of teaching and learning. It is a model school that has a visionary management, very committed faculty and a futuristic model that can be emulated by others. It has a great future and if it goes like this, QMIS can become a university in the future,” he told reporters here on January 23rd 2024.

QMIS ADVISORY BOARD MEETING:

The annual advisory board meeting of Queen Mira International School took place in the school premises at Kochadai in Madurai on January 23rd 2024. Members of the board council include Justice D.Murugesan, Mr.D.R.Karthikeyan, Dr.R.Venkatraman of ISRO, Ms.Jenni Thompson, Mr.A.Myilvaganan IPS, Dr.Augustus Samuel Dodd, Dr.R.Thiruchenthuran, Dr.Madhan Karky, Dr.Sarvesh Naidu, Mr.Ganeshkumar Ramanathan, Dr.Pathamarani K.Naidu and Mr.Jayaprakash Gandhi.

Among those who were present in the meeting include QMIS Chairman Dr.C.Chandran, school managing director Mr.Abinath Chandran and academic director Ms.Sujatha Guptan. A press release from the school has said that the theme of today’s advisory board conclave was “Strategic Horizons-Navigating Excellence Together’.
