MADURAI: Special unreserved trains will be operated between Madurai and Palani on January 24th and 25th 2024 for Thaipoosam festival at Palani temple.
In order to clear the extra rush of passengers and for the convenience of devotees, special trains (unreserved) will be operated for Thaipoosam festival at Arulmigu Dhandayuthapaniswamy Temple in Palani.
A press release received from Southern Railway Madurai Division here today has informed that Train Number 06722 Madurai Junction-Palani Special will leave Madurai railway junction at 6 am on January 24th 2024 (Wednesday) and on January 25th 2024 (Thursday) and will reach at Palani at 8.30 am on the same day.
Train Number 06721 Palani-Madurai Junction special train will leave Palani at 5.45 pm on 24th and 25th January and arrive at Madurai Junction here at 8.15 hrs the same day. The train will stop at Sholavandan, Kodaikanal Road, Ambaturai, Dindigul junction and at Oddanchatram. The train will have 17 unreserved coaches.
