MADURAI: Hundreds of job aspirants had turned up at the ‘Aram Job Fair’ organized at MADITSSIA Hall in Madurai today- on December 23rd 2023. The job fair was conducted by all Rotary clubs in Madurai in association with MADITSSIA and nearly 35 companies participated to recruit qualified candidates for different types of jobs.
Rtn.R.Anandtha Jothi, District Governor, Rotary International District 3000, had inaugurated the job fair here today morning in the presence of Rotary District Governor Elect Rtn.R.Raja Govindasamy, MADITSSIA president RM.Lakshminarayanan, event chairman Rtn.D.Siva Sankar, Regional Coordinator Rtn.Ashok.J and office-bearers of various Rotary clubs in Madurai.
Various companies had conducted the selection process and interviews with job-seekers and this fair was meant for those who passed out in the year 2023.
“Rotary is a service organization and through this job fair in Madurai today, we will be able to provide livelihood, career and earning for the youngsters who attended today. More than 750 job aspirants had registered online to attend the job fair and there are more number coming as walk-ins. The total turnout will be more than 1,500 by the end of this fair today afternoon. This is a community service by Rotary clubs,” Rotary District Governor Rtn.R.Anandtha Jothi has said after inaugurating the job fair.
She also said that similar job fairs will be conducted at various places in eight revenue districts that come under the jurisdiction of Rotary District 3000 for the benefit of job aspirants.
Among those who were present at the job fair inauguration include job fair district chairman Rtn.E.R.K.Vignesh Babu, event co-chairman Rtn.M.M.Gopison, Regional Coordinator Rtn.Murugananthapandi, district chairman for special projects Rtn.Murali, district chairman for public image Rtn.Nellai Balu and Rotary district secretary Rtn.Shantha Ram.
