MADURAI: The Madurai Kamaraj University Pensioners Association in Madurai is conducting a special event in Madurai on December 17th 2023 to mark the Pensioners Day, even though they have been facing severe hardships for getting their monthly pension on date on time, including for November 2023 which is waited even after two weeks in December.
A special function is being organized at Aurobindo Mira Higher Secondary School at Bypass Road in Madurai on 17th December 2023 to commemorate the Pensioners Day. The MKU Pensioners Association has invited a few key prominent personalities in Madurai for the pensioners day function, and they include former AIFUCTO general secretary Prof.MUTA Parthasarathy, advocate Mr.Vanchinathan and senior academic voices Prof.P.Vijayakumar and Prof.R.Murali.
The MKU Pensioners Association office-bearers Mr.A.Swaminathan (secretary) and president Prof.A.Srinivasan will highlight in general about the pensioners’ issues while association joint secretary Mr.Giridharan will propose a vote of thanks on behalf of the pensioners association.
