MADURAI: The 11th graduation day of Velammal College of Engineering and Technology in Madurai (VCET) was held on 9th December 2023 with theme Harvest-2023 (Ready to Conquer).
MrsJustice S.Srimathi, Judge Madras High Court- Madurai Bench , who was the chief guest had exhorted the graduates to become job providers and not just remain as job- seekers. She had stressed on the importance of regular practice and consistency in their education.
Mr.M.V Muthuramalingam, Founder and Chairman of Velammal Educational Trust, advised the students and fresh graduates to follow values, commitment and punctuality.
Dr. P.Alli, Principal of VCET, welcomed the gathering and presented the college annual report. Totally, 460 graduates received their degrees at the graduation day event in Madurai today.
Dr. N. Suresh Kumar, Senior principal and coordinator, Velammal group of institutions (Madurai Region), Deans, Heads of departments and faculty were among those present.
