MADURAI: The Velammal College of Engineering and Technology (VCET Autonomous) in Madurai has got a NCC Naval Unit.
The NCC Naval Unit at VCET campus in Viraganoor in Madurai was inaugurated on 18th October 2023 and it will be attached to the 2 (TN) Naval Unit NCC-Madurai.
Lieutenant Commander Mr.Belliappa, AP Commanding Officer, 2 (TN) Naval Unit NCC, who was the chief guest for inaugural function had advised new cadets to create their own strategy and reach the destination because pain is temporary whereas pride is forever.
Dr.N.Suresh Kumar, Senior Principal and Coordinator of Velammal Group of Institutions- Madurai Region, had offered his felicitations to the NCC cadets. Dr.P.Alli, Principal, VCET, welcomed the gathering and Mr.B.Jegan, NCC caretaker, had proposed a vote of thanks.
