MADURAI: Aurolab, a well-known manufacturer of ophthalmic products and an integral part of world famous Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai, has constructed a top class warehouse facility at Veerapanjan here.
The state-of-the-art 20,000 sq ft warehouse was inaugurated on October 1st 2023 by Mr.R.Dinesh, Executive Chairman, TVS SCS Global and president of CII National Council, in the presence of Dr.P.Namperumalsamy, Trustee, Aurolab Trust and Chairman Emeritus of Aravind Eye Care System, R.D.Sriram, Managing Director of Aurolab and others.
This new warehouse facility came up in Aurolab premises in Veerapanjan in Madurai and it will be used to store the ophthalmic consumables manufactured by Aurolab such as IOL, surgical sutures, surgical blades and other ophthalmic pharmaceutical products.
At the inaugural function, Mr.R.Dinesh and others have recalled the great significant visionary contribution made by the founder of Aravind Eye Hospital Dr.G.Venkataswamy for providing quality eye care at a very affordable cost to all sections of people.
Mr.R.Krishnakumar, Senior Manager-Regulatory Affairs, Aurolab, had welcomed the gathering while Mrs.N.Packiyalakshmi, store manager-warehouse and finished goods, Aurolab, had proposed a vote of thanks.
