MADURAI: The American College in Madurai has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Handong Global University in South Korea marking a beginning of academic partnership for the benefit of students and faculty.
Dr.M.Davamani Christober, Principal and Secretary of American College and Mr.Sungmin Kim, Manager of Exchange Programme at Handong Global University-South Korea, have signed the MoU here yesterday- on September 7th 2023.
“The MoU will enhance academic collaboration, cultural understanding and research exchange between the two institutions through student and faculty exchange programmes, exploration of diverse perspectives and knowledge sharing through academic exchange programmes,” a press release received from the college yesterday said.
Dr.Martin David, Vice-Principal of American College welcomed the gathering. Among those present at the MoU signing ceremony include college Bursar Dr.Beaula Ruby Kamalam and faculty members. Dr.J.Paul Jayakar, Dean-International Exchange, had proposed a vote of thanks.
