MADURAI: The Syndicate meeting of Madurai Kamaraj University which was held in the university here on August 18th 2023 had taken a decision to form a three-member committee comprising three Syndicate members to enquire into the issue of assault and physical attack on MUTA president Dr.A.T.Senthamarai Kannan by MKU College vice-principal Dr.P.Kabilan (associate professor) on August 15th 2023 during the Independence Day celebration function.
“For the MKU College enquiry, a three-member committee has been formed with Syndicate members Prof.Pushparaj, Dr.Nagarathinam and American College Principal Dr.Thavamani Christober. This special enquiry panel of MKU Syndicate will enquire and get all details about the reported incident of assault on MUTA president Dr.A.T.Senthamarai Kannan by MKU College vice principal Dr.P.Kabilan in the college campus on 15th August 2023. The report will be submitted in 15 days to the university Syndicate. The convenor of this 3-member MKU enquiry committee is Syndicate member Prof.Pushparaj,” sources in MKU told ‘Lotus Times’ media here after the Syndicate meeting on August 18th 2023.
