MADURAI: Following the advisory given by School Education Department, a special programme was conducted today morning – on August 11th 2023- at Al Ameen Higher Secondary School in K.Pudur in Madurai to create awareness among students against drug abuse.
Anti-drug pledge was administered in this event in which students and staff took a pledge to prevent drug abuse and join the State-level campaign against drug abuse launched by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr.M.K.Stalin for all educational institutions in the State today.
A press release received from the school has informed that students, teachers and all staff members had participated in this important awareness drive against drugs as a part of ‘Drug Free Tamil Nadu’. Mr.Jaishankar, sub-inspector from K.Pudur Police Station in Madurai, had coordinated this program which was presided over by school Headmaster Mr.Sheik Nabi. The awareness video message of Chief Minister Mr.M.K.Stalin for Drug Free Tamil Nadu was shown to the students.
