MADURAI: A career guidance programme for students was conducted by M.S.S.Wakf Board College in Madurai on August 9th 2023. The Human Resource Development Cell and Placement Cell of the college had jointly organized this session to provide career guidance to students.
Dr.M.R.Chandran, former Dean (Arts) and coordinator of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Head and Associate Professor, Centre for Research in English, Saraswathi Narayanan College-Madurai, addressed the students on topic ‘Employability Skill Development’.
Dr.S.A.N.Shazuli Ibrahim, Principal in-charge of Wakf Board College, had presided over the program while Dr.M.Mumtaz, coordinator of HRD Club, had delivered the welcome address and spoke about the importance of conducting this programme to create career guidance awareness for students and the skill sets required for right employability.
Dr.Senthil Kumar, coordinator of Placement Cell, proposed a vote of thanks. Students from various departments of the college had attended the session along with faculty members, according to a press release received from the college yesterday.
