MADURAI: Revolutionary poet, balladeer, social activist, public fighter and a strong popular personality representing the common man since 1970s from united Andhra Pradesh- Mr.Gaddar- who gave his strong voice for Telangana people, had passed away at a private hospital in Hyderabad today- on August 6th 2023, at 3 pm. He was 73.
Gaddar took up several issues for public movement after resigning his job in a government bank in the 70s and his songs had stirred the public mood against those who are exploiting the poor people, Dalits etc, and his two famous songs ignited the separate Telangana State movement, and making of two States into Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The passing away of Gaddar is a huge shock for over eight crores Telugu people because Gaddar lived for social justice, social causes and social issues, irrespective of region, caste or creed.
