MADURAI: Dr.Sathish Devadoss, Vice-Chairman of Devadoss Hospital Group in Madurai, has given an exclusive interview to ‘Lotus Times’ English media website recently explaining how ortho problems are increasing among people today, and how the hospital has grown into a multi-specialty hospital to be a tertiary referral hospital by coming from the founder’s days of well-known ortho surgeon in Tamil Nadu- Prof.Dr.A.Devadoss who practices orthopaedic surgery for past 50 years.
From being an orthopedic hospital, the Devadoss Hospital in Madurai has now become a multi specialty hospital in Madurai, located at Surveyor Colony on Alagar Kovil Road in Madurai.
“The longevity of people is increasing and hence age related problems are also rising. For joint pains, for back pains, for changing life style, for knee and joint replacement and for the increasing osteo arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis problems, we have best treatment methods in our hospital. We have solutions for those who face ortho problems due to obesity etc. Above 40 years of age, we need ortho solution and this is the major trend now due to lifestyle changes etc,” Dr.Sathish Devadoss has said in a 30-minute interview to English media website ‘Lotus Times’ in Madurai recently, interview done in June 2023.
