MADURAI: Tamil Nadu’s Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services Mr.P.T.R.Palanivel Thiagarajan and Minister for Commercial Taxes and Registration Mr.P.Moorthy took part in the remembrance meeting organized here today evening-on July 14th 2023-by the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry to pay homage to educationist, industrialist and ‘Thakkar’ of Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple Karumuttu T.Kannan who passed away on May 23rd 2023.
The TN Chamber had organized this special remembrance meeting at the chamber hall in Madurai today evening by inviting representatives from various associations from trade and industry to pay tributes to late Karumuttu T.Kannan who made immense contributions in the fields of education and industry with his rich experience and his great social service.
Dr.N.Jegatheesan, president, Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and others have recalled the persona of Karumuttu T.Kannan and said that his contributions will always be remembered by the people of various sectors in Tamil Nadu- be it textile industry or to temples or for providing top class quality affordable education etc. Mr.Karumuttu Hari Thiagarajan, secretary of Thiagarajar College, was present.
