MADURAI: Representatives of several leading trade and industry bodies are attending a remembrance meeting being organized in Madurai today evening- on July 14th 2023- by the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry to pay homage and tributes to educationist-industrialist-philanthropist Karumuttu T.Kannan who passed away on 23rd May 2023.
The TN Chamber is organizing this remembrance meeting in the chamber hall on Kamarajar Salai in the city today evening at 5 pm, in which Tamil Nadu Ministers Dr.P.T.R.Palanivel Thiaga Rajan and Mr.P.Moorthy along with TN Chamber president Dr.N.Jegatheesan, SIMA former president Mr.T.Rajkumar, CII Madurai’s Mr.Dinesh, Agrofood Chamber president Mr.S.Rethinavelu, MADITSSIA president Mr.M.S.Sampath, TN Foodgrains Merchants Association president Mr.Velshankar, Lions District Governor Mr.T.P.Raveendran and Rotary District Governor Ms.Anandtha Jothi will take part and pay respects to late Karumuttu T.Kannan.
Representatives from the chartered accountants institute, cost accountants institute and various other professional bodies will participate and pay their tributes. Mr.Hari Thiagarajan, secretary of Thiagarajar College and son of Karumuttu T.Kannan, will be present at this remembrance meeting in Madurai today evening- July 14th 2023.
